StartFragmentHappy one year anniversary to Tale of the Witche!
The price of the ebook has been reduced, and this is usually when I offer the book through Barnes and Noble. However, the Amazon exclusive was (accidentally) extended through to July.
A) Nook readers will have to wait until July.
B) Amazon Unlimited users can still get the book for free.
I'm still looking for a way to have a giveaway for the print version, since Goodreads is no longer feasible
Tale of the Witche is now available as a paperback. https://www.amazon.com/dp/0991227220/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=melinda+o%27donnell&qid=1568403999&s=gateway&sr=8-6 Darlia isn't exactly a typical witche... Darlia is a lonely girl living within the safety of the vast Brown Forest. An elemental earth witche, she has power over plants and can even command the earth itself. Placed under a curious curse at birth, she has to prove herself time and again, which isn't easy when she als
Tale of the Witche is a little different from my other books. It actually began as a series of short stories. Each story was self-contained, and the overarching tale was a mystery, only faintly hinted at in each story. I don't normally write mystery, and I seldom read any books that can be categorized as mystery, so this was one struggle (among many) when tying this book together.

Tale of the Witche is now listed on Goodreads! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/45938700-tale-of-the-witche?ac=1&from_search=true I can technically add my books to the database myself, but I find it's easier not to, as the entries can quickly become messy and riddled with mistakes. It's then almost impossible to correct the errors, as authors cannot edit these listings themselves. (See the Tale of the Moone entry on Goodreads. It lists three editions- there are only two, t
I didn't write a post in March, because I was planning for it to be the one announcing Tale of the Witche's release.
Unfortunately, tragedy struck my family, and I lost someone very dear to me.
But Tale of the Witche is now complete, and will be released towards the end of the month, probably on April 30. #taleofthewitche
The good news is that I've decided on the short story that will be released this year, right after Tale of the Witche. I was having trouble deciding on which one to publish, and I initially decided on a different one. But when I went back and actually looked at the original story, I realized it was simply too short, even though I was planning to pair it with another similar themed short story. Even together they were both too short, barely a few pages long. I always seem to r
Hi everyone, just wanted to check in. I'm still plugging away on Tale of the Witche, but it's slow-going, although I have made some steady progress this month. As I've said before, it was a problem book from the beginning and it's still a problem book now, but I'm also guilty of taking the time to write some short stories I've had in mind for awhile. #taleofthewitche #writing
Yes, I know it's February, but I was sick for nearly the entire month of January. Sorry the update is late! I have a few things planned for this year. First, of course, will be the release of my third book, Tale of the Witche. Although it is a prequel of sorts to Tale of the Moone, both stories are stand-alone and can be read in any order. They do take place in the same world and there are some returning characters. I've fallen a little behind on this (as usua...l). I'm curre
